Benefit Auctions

Benefit auctions are alive and well locally and nationally. Donors are attending events at over 80% of pre-COVID levels. Giving is also up greatly from pre-COVID. Now is the time to re-engage your donors. People want to be face to face more than ever. People want to support your organization more than ever. Benefit auctions are a highly successful avenue to engage donors and raise funds. We work with you to drive revenue success. Fund a Need

A Fund-A-Need is the heart and soul of fundraising. It is simple, elegant and impactful. It is the most inclusive form of giving during your event with 100% participation possible. A Fund-A-Need shines a bright light on the core of your mission while building deep connections from your mission to your donors far beyond the event. With a heartfelt and impactful story and benefit auctioneer expertise, paddles will be in the air with enthusiastic giving!

 

Live Auctions

If your event’s primary goal is fundraising, this portion of the evening will be the culmination of months of careful planning, item procurement, and carefully selected and displayed premiere items. We work with you months ahead of your event to prepare you in the importance of selecting the right items for the right crowd and the critical role timing and item sequence play in building momentum.

Both Fund A Need and Live Auctions can be incorporated into many different types of events. It’s important to remember that different event formats attract different donors. A donor who attends your Golf Event may not have attended your Gala. Golfers may bring buddies and friends that are not connected to your organization. What a prime opportunity to fundraise to a new and untapped audience!

• Galas—The premiere event on an organization’s calendar, these fetes usually include hors d’oeuvres and/or dinner, a program with speakers and awards, silent and/or live auctions, and entertainment.  A fresh idea is to serve appetizers during a brief mingle time with games and silent auction. The program stands alone with dinner served after the program so the program can focus on its sole purpose of fundraising.

• Golf Scrambles and Tournaments—Many golf tournaments now incorporate a small live auction component or a “Run Around” into their events to add an extra level of fun and excitement. Never heard of a “Run Around”? Click here to find out more.

• Virtual Events—These Fund-a-Need and Auctions can be held on their own or in conjunction with any of the events listed above. They are often done in real time with the live auction portion of an event.

• Wine dinners—Gaining in popularity, these dinners typically feature four course dinners prepared by a well-known chef (or series of chefs), and flights of wine chosen by a sommelier. A Fund-a-Need and/or a Live auction is incorporated into the festivities.

• Festivals—Typically held at churches and schools, these events frequently incorporate a carnival atmosphere with rides, flea markets, music, silent and live auctions.
